The Legacy Center Campus is the only building in the qualified opportunity zone of East Point, Georgia that is community owned by 14,240 individuals. The Legacy Center, affectionately known as The Black House is designed to support small businesses and entrepreneurs and serves as a home for a community of creatives. It’s a place where visionaries can bring their projects to life by utilizing our modern spaces.
The Legacy Center has been apart of several respected initiatives. One of which is the Big Brothers Anonymous Mentorship program.
The Black House kicked-off on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. The Grand Opening Celebration included the raising of the Tulsa Real Estate Fund flag, ribbon-cutting ceremony and an investors only reception. In March 2020, after briefly opening for the first quarter of 2020, The Legacy Center was forced to close its doors amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Like resilient champions, they switched their focus to providing virtual business services and events. In January 2021, the Phase II renovation provided The Legacy Center’s 20,000 square foot industrial warehouse space with a polished look, perfect for conferences, receptions, productions and more!
